What is COP 26?

The UN’s 26th “Conference of Parties” is taking place in Glasgow, and IDE members are there! Stay tuned to our social media to see how they get on. A summit of international leaders, negotiators, business leaders and of course citizens, with a focus on actions required to mitigate climate breakdown. The historic Paris agreement was signed at COP21 in 2015, and this delayed summit aims to review progress at 5 yearly intervals, particularly on countries’ Nationally Determined Contributions or “NDCs”.
